  • Thread verification.
  • For use in automatic toolchanging machining centers where the rotation and advance are provided by the machine tool.
  • Cycles below 1 second are possible (not including toolchanging).
  • Quickly and automatically checks threaded holes (or external threads) by automatically screwing a probe (or ring gage) into and out of the part. GO gaging, NO GO gaging, and combination gaging are all possible.
  • The TVU-IR features a spindle with torque control and axial control, allowing probe to stall in the part (or retract) in case of missing or improperly formed threads or when a broken tap is encountered. This registers a fault, creating a "reject" signal.
  • Will check blind holes accurately for thread depth.
  • Will not jam or stick in undersize (or short) threads.
  • Does not subject the part (or the spindle) to high force or torque levels.even with a reject.
  • Three basic models fit most applications.
  • Comes mounted to the standard adapter of your choice.
  • Comes with an infrared optical transmission unit that is compatible with many infrared receiving units. Optionally, switch to a radio frequency (RF) transmission unit.
  • Proven mechanisms are backed by a one-year standard warranty.
  • Weighs 3.5 kilograms (7.7 lbs).
